Our managers have considerable
experience fighting fire in the Urban Interface. Not only do we know how
to effectively suppress fire in this environment but we know how to
prepare, in advance, so your home or community will suffer as little
damage as possible. And most importantly we know what you can do so that
the fire fighters who come to fight the fire, can do so safely.

- We come on site and asses your homes ability to survive a major
wildfire. We address the home ignition zone and what you can do to
improve it, including fuel modification, fire resistant vegetation,
firebreaks, sprinkler systems etc. If you choose not to do the
required work yourself, we can take care of that for you. We can even
help find sources of money that are available for such projects.

- Developing A Firewise
Community

- We
can do community presentations that address the need for an overall
plan for potential wild fire intrusion. We have cadre members who have
taken National Firewise Community training and can help you with the
steps needed, to protect yourselves, if you are at risk. There is also
grant money available for this purpose.
